Venkitraman Anand is a seasoned business leader with nearly four decades of experience across various industries, including roles at prestigious corporations like Parry Agro Industries Ltd (Murugappa Group), Aspinwall & Co Ltd and Harrisons Malayalam Ltd (RP Sanjiv Goenka Group). A Commerce graduate with a Business Leadership Programme from IIM Bengaluru, he has held significant CXO-level positions, including CEO and Whole-time Director, where he demonstrated a strong ability to drive organizational success and foster sustainable growth. His Career has been marked by his strategic leadership and contributions to corporate governance, aligning business goals with industry trends and regulatory frameworks.
In addition to his corporate leadership, he has been actively involved in industry organizations. He served as the President of The Cochin Chamber of Commerce and Industries and is a key member of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII). He is a Fellow Lifetime Member of the Institute of Directors and holds a Certified Independent Director qualification from the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs. His experience in navigating complex challenges and making informed decisions has been further honed through advisory roles and contributions to strategic oversight and governance in various organizations.
He is also dedicated to mentoring and coaching future leaders. As a speaker, life coach, and facilitator, he helps educational institutions, startups, and organizations adopt sustainable leadership practices. He serves as a Mentor at NSRCEL, the business incubator of IIM Bangalore, where he guides entrepreneurial Talent.

I would like my journey from industry leadership to launching NexUp Partners LLP described as a natural evolution driven by passion, purpose, and a desire to create a meaningful impact.
Having spent years in leadership roles across industries, I gained deep insights into the challenges businesses face—whether it’s navigating change, optimizing operations, or aligning strategy with execution. Along the way, I realized a recurring theme: businesses often needed more than just advice—they needed a partner who could collaborate with them, understand their unique context, and co-create solutions tailored to their goals.
This realization, combined with my experience leading diverse teams, managing complex projects, and driving transformation, inspired me to step into entrepreneurship. NexUp is the culmination of that experience—a platform where I can bring together the best practices from my career, a team of like-minded professionals, and a passion for empowering businesses to thrive in a dynamic world.
This transition represents my belief that the role of a leader is not just to succeed personally but to enable others to succeed, whether it’s through mentorship, strategic guidance, or building a business that fosters innovation and growth.
